AGENDA

 

Notice is hereby given that the Commissioners’ Court of Clay County, Texas, will meet at 9:30 A.M. on the 23 ^rd day of AUGUST, 2010, which is at least three days after the posting of this notice, Commissioners’ Courtroom located at the Clay County Courthouse Annex, 214 N. Main, Henrietta, Texas in the, to consider such items of business as are deemed necessary including the following:  

 

CLAY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS’ COURT

1.        Court to approve the minutes of the previous meeting.

2.        Court to approve any line item/budget amendments.

3.        Court to approve payment for all bills relating to Clay County Memorial Hospital.

 

4.        Court to examine and possibly approve all accounts, payroll and reports relating to the  finances of the County and audit and settle all accounts against the County and direct their  payments.

5.         Court to hear from any persons desiring to appear before the court.

6.         County Judge, Kenneth Liggett to give updates on meetings and to provide information regarding events concerning Clay County.

7.         Court to consider and possibly take any action necessary regarding on-site sewage facilities (OSSF) in Clay County.

8.         Court to consider and possibly take any action necessary regarding the Courthouse Annex:

                        A.    Approve an Agreement for Alarm Services between Clay County and Commercial & Industrial Electronics, Inc.

                        B.    Punch list

                        C.    Move in                       

                       

9.         Court to consider and possibly approve the Clay County Treasurer’s monthly report for July, 2010 and advertisement of same.

10.       Court to consider and possibly appoint election judges and alternate judges for a one (1) year term and approve rate of pay for election workers at $12.00 per hour and $75.00 for use of building.

11.       Court to consider and possibly adopt annual holidays for Clay County employees for 2011.

12.       Court to continue the public hearing to consider and possibly approval the Order Designating the Southwest Clay County Wind Power Reinvestment Zone. Court to possibly hear from Mark Wells, Wilson Scaling, John Greer, Jay Cantrell, Jerry Horn and Jimmy Horn concerning this matter.

13.       Court to consider and possibly approve the Order Designating the Southwest Clay County Wind Power Reinvestment Zone.

14.       Court to consider and possibly approve the 2010 Renewal Notice and Benefit Confirmation as presented by Texas Association of Counties (TAC) Health and Employee Benefits Pool.

15.       Court to consider and possibly approve the authorization to maintain or change the Texas County and District Retirement System Plan for the year 2011.

16.       Court to consider and possibly approve request from Kent Neville, EMC for Clay County, for fax and other equipment needed for his office.

17.       Court to meet in regular session of the Commissioners’ Court to hold a Public Hearing on the Proposed FY2011 Budget, located in the new Courthouse Annex, 214 North Main Street, Henrietta, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

18.       Court to approve the Clay County Proposed Property Tax Rate, 0.72818, for FY2011.

19.       Court to approve advertisement of the Notice of Vote on the Proposed Tax Rate for FY2011.

20.       Court to approve advertisement of the Notice of Vote on the Proposed Tax Rate for FY2011 on the County’s Website.

21.       Court to approve the advertisement of Public Notice for the CIHCP Eligibility Standards.

22.       Court to approve the advertisement of the Public Notice Hearing on the Proposed FY2011 Budget, to be held in regular session of the Commissioners’ Court, located in the new Courthouse Annex, 214 North Main Street, Henrietta, Texas, Monday, September 13, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., at the conclusion of the Public Hearing, there will be a vote of the proposed tax rate for FY2011, and the adoption of the FY2011 Budget.

23.       Court to approve the advertisement of the Public Notice Hearing on the Proposed FY2011 Budget, to be held in regular session of the Commissioners’ Court, located in the new Courthouse Annex, 214 North Main Street, Henrietta, Texas, Monday, September 13, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., at the conclusion of the Public Hearing, there will be a vote of the proposed tax rate for FY2011, and the adoption of the FY2011 Budget, on the County’s Website.

24.       Court to approve the advertisement of Notice of Public Hearing for the County Clerk’s Records Management and Preservation Plan and Archive Fees, the Public Hearing will be held during the Public Hearing for the Proposed FY2011 Budget from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., held in the Commissioners’ Court, located in the new Courthouse Annex, 214 North Main Street, Henrietta, Texas, Monday, September 13, 2010.
